NATIONAL CERTIFIED ALFALFA VARIETY REVIEW BOARD
Subject: Variety name changes - ATRA 50 and Unico
Dr. H.L. Carnahan, Director of Research for Arnold-Thomas Seed Service, Fresno, California, has requested that we notify you that the variety name "ATRA 50" has been changed to "520". Therefore, ATRA 50 should now be considered only as an additional experimental designation for 520. This variety received favorable review by the National Certified Alfalfa Variety Review Board on December 9, 1968.
Dr. M.H. Schonhorst, Department of Agronomy, University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, has requested that we notify you that the variety name "Unico" has been changed to "El-Unico". This variety received favorable review by the National Certified Alfalfa Variety Review Board on December 12, 1967.
