Madera has high resistance to spotted alfalfa
aphid, pea aphid, Southern root--knot nematode, and Fusarium wilt; moderate
resistance to Phytophthora root rot, bacterial wilt, Verticillium wilt,
and stem nematode; and low resistance to blue alfalfa aphid and anthracnose.
